Karo

Terms of Use

Effective 27 October 2026

By using Karo you agree to these terms.

Eligibility

You must be 16 or older. Keep your details accurate and your password private.

Your content

You own what you post, and you let us store it and show it to the people you share it with, only to run Karo. Only post what you have the right to share.

Zero tolerance

Karo has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. No harassment, hate, threats, nudity or sexual content, illegal content, impersonation or spam. Don't share other people's private information or photos without their consent. Don't hack, scrape or abuse Karo.

Reports and blocking

You can block or report anyone in Manage Friends, under Block & Report. We act on every report within 24 hours: we remove the content and remove the user who posted it. Blocking someone also tells us.

Screen-time locks

Screen-time locks are a self-control aid and may fail or be bypassed. Your unlock times and reasons are shared with your groups and friends.

Ending

You can delete your account at any time. We can suspend or remove accounts that break these terms, and we may change or shut down Karo.

Liability

Karo is free and provided as is. As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for losses from using it, and our total liability is capped at €100. Your consumer rights are unaffected.

Apple

These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple isn't responsible for Karo or its support, and Apple's standard licence agreement also applies.

Law and changes

Irish law applies. We'll tell you in the app before any significant change.
